Halloween is probably the very best time to consider reading it. It fits right in. KH: This, this, this, Delta variant is spread faster. And it is in many cases reported to be much more serious in terms of its impact. And the vaccine will protect you from it. And here’s how I know. Virtually every person who is in the hospital sick with COVID-19 right now is vaccinated.

KH: I’m going to repeat that.
Audience: (more murmurs and laughing)
KH: Virtually — it’s a fact.
Audience: (louder laughter)
KH: Virtually every person who is in the hospital right now sick with COVID-19 is vaccinated. And even more regrettably virtually every person who has recently died from COVID-19 was vaccinated. The loss, the tragedy of that loss, literally every person who has died from COVID-19 that we have recently been seeing was vaccinated. So it is time. So when you think about it there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs, and there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children. KH: And speaking of the system of justice we are also changing — you all might have heard that this week — the federal government’s approach to marijuana. Because the bottom line there is nobody should have to go to jail for smoking weed. Editor’s comment
As the 32nd Attorney General of California (2011–17), Kamala Harris oversaw 1,956 convictions for marijuana possession, cultivation, and sales. Neither she nor the President bothered to mention it, but smoking marijuana is a state crime, not a federal crime. There isn’t a single prisoner in the federal system that will be released under the newly announced policy. I have no question in my mind, Kamala will keep uttering such memorable tomes of wisdom.
