Short term - the dollar is on a buy signal since early October.

Long term - dollar is on a major buy signal since September.

Summary
US dollar is on buy signals both short and long term.

Technically speaking, dollar is very strong but sentiment is still quite bearish, which bodes well for further strength on the dollar thus pressuring prices on "things."
