The Walker Lane in Nevada is home to several world class deposits including the producing Round Mountain Complex operated by Kinross and Castle Mountain Operated By Equinox Gold. Centerra recently acquired the Gemfield Project for $200m while Anglogold has spent approximately $600m consolidating the Beatty District around their exciting Silicon Discovery
Anglogold has consolidated the Beatty District completing approximately $600m in transactions surrounding their Silicon discovery. The Silicon deposit has a reported resource of 3.4 moz Au.
In 2022 Centerra acquired the Gemfield Deposit from Waterton Global for $200m.
Strikepoint owns two high grade assets in the Golden Triangle. The Golden Triangle is home to significant gold mines including the Brucejack mine operated by Newcrest, development projects such Ascot’s Granduc and Red Mountain, Skeena’s Eskay Creek and Exploration project such as Dolly Varden’s Kitsault Valley Project.
Brucejack (Newcrest): This recently producing mine has total gold reserves of 8.7 million ounces which will be produced over an 18 year mine life.
Eskay Creek (Skeena): Discovered in 1988, the former mine produced 3.3 million ounces of gold and 160 million ounces of silver, and was once the worlds highest-grade gold mine and the fifth-largest silver mine by volume.
