President's Day & Family Day Holiday Schedule

Dear PennTrader,

Next Monday will be a holiday for both the US and Canadian stock markets. They`ll be closed, and we`ll be closed too.

In the US, Monday is, of course, President`s Day.

In Canada, it is a new holiday called Family Day.

Both markets return to business as usual on Tuesday, and we will also.

The Toronto Stock Exchange explains the new holiday this way:

Family Day brings Ontario`s long weekend total up to nine, which is equal to Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia,and the Territories.
